The topic for the 2008 JCI World Public Speaking Championship is “Be Better through Active Citizenship.” Francis D.M. Mwale of JCI Zimbabwe was the 2007 JCI World Public Speaking Champion. Who will be the 2008 Champion?

The JCI World Public Speaking Championship offers members the opportunity to exercise and showcase their abilities and to share ideas on issues of particular importance to fellow members. National contest winners are encouraged to compete at the JCI Conferences. The winner from each JCI Conference will be expected to represent his or her Area in the final round of the JCI World Public Speaking Championship at the JCI World Congress to be held in New Delhi, India, November 4 – 9, 2008.
